Tom Moran is senior vice president of Human Resources. His primary responsibilities are providing human resources oversight for West as well as some of the global support functions and business units within the Legal segment.

Tom has 30 years of experience in human resources and employee/labor relations. He most recently was senior vice president of Human Resources for North American Legal. He joined Thomson Legal Publishing (TLP) in 1996 and played a key role in the successful TLP/West Publishing integration. Before joining Thomson, Tom held various human resources leadership roles at Bausch & Lomb in Rochester, New York, and FMC Corporation in Michigan, New York and New Jersey.

Tom earned a bachelor's degree from the American University in Washington, D.C., and he holds an M.Sc. degree in industrial psychology from the Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey.
