Mike Suchsland is senior vice president of West, responsible for corporate, government and academic markets, West Government Services, print/CD, and response marketing. He also serves as president of West Education Group, which includes BAR/BRI and West's academic and professional learning businesses.

Since joining Thomson in 1998, Mike has served in a number of leadership roles, including vice president of Strategic Consulting for Thomson Legal & Regulatory, and vice president of the Small and Medium Law Firm Segment for West. Prior to joining Thomson, he held senior executive positions at Thorn Americas and CCH Incorporated. He began his career as a consultant at Booz, Allen & Hamilton.

Mike has an MBA from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University and a bachelor's degree from Southern Methodist University.
