Cathy Zappa is chief financial officer for Thomson Reuters Legal. Her key responsibilities include driving financial strategies, strengthening operational performance and managing the global finance, compliance and risk functions, as well as overseeing for the Elite business.

Cathy has more than 25 years of accounting and finance experience in global organizations. She previously served as senior vice president, Finance, for North American Legal. Before joining Thomson in 2004, she served as division chief financial officer for the industrial and automotive business at Valspar Corporation; and before that as global chief financial officer for Honeywell International's building services business. Cathy held several leadership and international roles during her 15-year tenure with Honeywell, including positions based in the UK and Asia.

Cathy has a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Minnesota and is a certified public accountant.
