FlipLaw™ Puts California Law at the Fingertips of Attorneys

Eagan, Minn. July 8, 2010 – A unique idea for a legal reference tool is changing how attorneys in California approach legal issues that come up during depositions, law and motion, and trial.
FlipLaw™ is from The Rutter Group (TRG), part of Thomson Reuters, and is available in three titles: FlipLaw California Depositions, FlipLaw California Trial Objections and FlipLaw California Law and Motion.
FlipLaw is a series of laminated, double-sided index cards that are stacked and colored coded - making it easy to quickly flip through for authoritative citations to statutes, case law, rules of court and TRG Practice Guides.
"FlipLaw helps both new and experienced attorneys navigate key rules and citations, courtroom strategy and procedural issues that develop at hearings," said Michael Paul Thomas, creator of FlipLaw. Thomas also is the author of the comprehensive California Civil Courtroom Handbook & Desktop Reference, and co-author of Procedure (California Civil Practice), published by Thomson Reuters, Legal.
The three FlipLaw titles are available on the websites of West and The Rutter Group.
