Cohabitation: The Law In Canada

This work is focused on legislation and caselaw regulating domestic relations between unmarried spouses, including detailed analytical commentary on all aspects of cohabitation. Prepared by experts in the field, each chapter deals with a particular topic, including same-sex relationships, and analyzes both the legislation and caselaw pertinent to that topic. The work includes a precedent section, which features a model cohabitation agreement, certificate of independent legal advice, a variation agreement, and an agreement respecting parties who cease to cohabit. An appendix contains the text of all key legislation in each province and territory, and key articles of the Quebec Civil Code
