Mexican Legal Dictionary, 2009-2010 ed.

This work provides English to Spanish translations of key legal terms used in Mexico, as well as definitions of those key terms in English. There are also quick-reference guides to commonly used terms in Mexican law, with both English and Spanish translations. Appendixes contain the text of selected U.S.-Mexico treaties; lists of legal and official acronyms and abbreviations; forms and samples of Mexican legal documents; bibliographies of Mexican legal sources; contact information for U.S. and Mexican consulates; and digests of cases decided by U.S. courts (1995-2009) involving application of Mexican law. Dictionary entries and appendixes combine to provide a reference guide for those involved with transborder legal matters, as well as practitioners who wish to expand their practice to include clients with business in Mexico. Although this is not an all-inclusive Spanish-English dictionary, it contains key legal terms used in Mexico.
