Where can I find a checklist that will help ensure that all the materials in my trademark application are complete?
Answer:
One such checklist is provided in section 818 of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office's
Trademark Manual of Examining Procedure.
Westlaw Directory The fifth edition of the manual (current as of September 2007) is available in the Federal Intellectual Property-Trademark Manual of Examining Procedure, Fifth Edition database (FIP-TMEP5TH). You can use the Table of Contents service to browse the contents and retrieve section 818 by clicking the plus (+) symbol next to Chapter 800 Application Requirements and then clicking 818 Application Checklist. You can view the full text of any USCA and CFR section cited in the text by clicking the appropriate link.
