Advanced Search Tip: Having the Whole Enchilada
Sometimes the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, for example when you want to retrieve an entire chapter or subchapter of the USCA.
To do this easily and quickly, follow these steps:
- At the Welcome to Westlaw page, click Site Map.
- Under Browse Westlaw, click Table of Contents.
- In the Type a TOC abbreviation box, type usca and click Go.
- Click the plus (+) symbol next to a title to expand the list, e.g., Title 17. Bankruptcy.
- Click the plus symbol next to the relevant chapter, e.g., Chapter 13.
- Click the plus symbol next to the subchapter, e.g., Subchapter II.
- Click the corresponding check boxes for the sections you need; then click Retrieve & Print at the bottom of the page.
Westlaw displays a print dialog box. You may now print, or you may close the dialog box and just view these sections.
