Westlaw Compliance Advisor enhancements: Making an easy thing easier

Several enhancements were recently added to Westlaw Compliance Advisor—to shorten the distance from Point A to Point B.

These enhancements include the following:

Regulatory Guidance Summaries links in a Navigator result: The easy-to-read Navigator result has added links to regulatory guidance summaries specific to the topics and jurisdictions represented in the result. A regulatory guidance summary can give you the high points of a regulation before you dig into the details.
Template defaults for tabs: You don't have to reach for the user-friendly search templates on the Research Center and Expert Guidance and News tabs. These templates are now the defaults.
Laws and Regulations jurisdiction limits: When using the Research Center tab to retrieve laws and regulations, you can use check boxes to restrict your result to the jurisdictions that matter to you.
Template for insurance bulletins: When searching for insurance bulletins, you can use drop-down lists and other features to limit your search by type of document (e.g., circular letter or memorandum), date, subject, jurisdiction, and other criteria.
Template for news: A news template makes it easy to exclude document types; identify duplicate documents; and restrict your search by date, word count, index field, or language.
