How to view a document cited in your Docket Track update
Suppose you use the Docket Track feature to stay current on new filings in active cases, and you receive your first Docket Track update via e-mail. How do you view a document cited in the Docket Track update?
For U.S. district court and bankruptcy court cases, Docket Track has recently been enhanced: View/Download PDFs links appear on the Docket Track update itself. Click View/Download PDFs; the Westlaw sign-on page is displayed. After you sign on, the PDF Bulk Download Review page is immediately displayed. To view a PDF image referenced in your Docket Track update, click the appropriate link at the PDF Bulk Download Review page. You can also use this page to download one or more PDF images simultaneously.
In the alternative, you can retrieve the updated court docket via Docket Tools. Go to the site map and click Docket Tools under Tools. The Docket Tools page is displayed. To view the updated court docket, click the appropriate link under Update Requests. To view a PDF image referenced in your court docket, click its link under PDF Requests.
