Blythe McCoy is a Librarian Relations manager. She serves as a key customer contact for law librarians in the South/Southwest area of the country, focusing on Houston, Dallas, Austin, New Orleans, and Birmingham.

She conducts in-firm training sessions with law firm librarians, along with citywide training programs and product launch events. As a Librarian Relations manager, she assists librarians in improving their skills while keeping them abreast of new content and services. Blythe has conducted professional development programs on topics including "Marketing the Library," "Legal Industry Updates," "Cost-Effective Research" and "Time Management" for many law library conferences. She has served as one of the select speakers for the AALL Chapter Leadership program for several years and has been a chair for the AALL Family Social for two conferences. Blythe is also the Library School liaison for the Houston Area Law Librarians Association.

Blythe has over 20 years experience in the legal industry. She is a licensed Texas attorney and previously practiced law for a firm in Houston, Texas, doing commercial litigation and bankruptcy work. During her extensive career at Thomson Reuters, Blythe has had a variety of different roles assisting librarians, attorneys, and other legal professionals.

Blythe is an active member of many local, regional, and national library associations. She earned her B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Mississippi, and her M.L.I.S. degree from the University of North Texas.
